Who we are

Wired is an AI assistant for Australian tradies, operated by Cory Pritchard. Contact: hello@wired-trades.com.

What we collect

  • Account details from your sign-in provider (name, email, profile image).
  • Profile details you enter at onboarding (phone, business name, trade, website).
  • Chat transcripts and voice call transcripts you create with Wired.
  • Per-tool credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys, app-specific passwords) for the integrations you connect.
  • Usage telemetry: conversation timestamps, token counts, tool call counts, cost metadata.

How we use it

  • To run the assistant and call the integrations you connect.
  • To personalise responses (your name, business, trade appear in system prompts).
  • To improve the product.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations, voice recordings, or connected-account data to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Wired sends your messages and, for voice, your audio to the following sub-processors strictly for the purpose of answering you:

  • Language model provider (United States).
  • Speech-to-text provider (United States).
  • Text-to-speech provider (United States).
  • Voice transport provider (APAC region).
  • Embeddings provider for memory (United States).
  • Authentication and database provider (AWS Sydney).
  • Application hosting provider (Sydney region).
  • Integration server hosting (Sydney region).
  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram), only when you arrive from one of our paid ads. See Cookies and analytics below.

Some of these providers are located overseas (primarily the United States). By using Wired, you consent to this overseas disclosure for the purpose of operating the service.

For the third-party accounts you choose to connect (such as Google, Xero, Apple, or Fergus), we only access the specific accounts you authorise.

Google user data

If you connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, or Google Tasks, Wired's use of information from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is only used to provide features you request in Wired and is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train AI models.

Storage and security

Data is stored in Postgres (AWS Sydney region) with row-level security scoping rows to your user account. Integration credentials are stored encrypted at rest.

Data retention

We retain your account, transcripts, and connected-account credentials for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and first-party analytics to understand traffic patterns at an aggregate level.

When Wired is running paid ads, we also use the Meta Pixel (browser-side) and the Meta Conversions API (server-side) to measure how those ads perform. The Conversions API transmits your email address and phone number in SHA-256 hashed form so Meta can match conversions to ad views without us sharing your raw contact details. You can opt out of personalised ads from Meta in your Meta account settings.

We also store UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and the referring URL in your browser's local storage and on your subscription row so we can attribute paid signups back to the ad that brought you here.

Your rights

You can disconnect any integration at any time from the Connections page. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address above and we'll action it within 30 days.

Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
